The Allan Campbell Memorial Lecture Series, 2016

Our Society was very fortunate when in 1960 Dr. Allan Campbell,
although a keen golfer, consciously decided to make rose growing his hobby and became one of our members.
His ability not only as a rose exhibitor and judge, but also
as an educator and administrator was quickly recognised and put to good use.

 

As a measure of respect, and to honour Allan’s outstanding contribution in the promotion of the Rose and our Society, the State Council introduced this biennial lecture series in 2013.
