Michael Keelan is a household name in South Australia, respected for his knowledge and promotion of gardening through mainstream media. He currently presents Radio 5aa’s highest lifestyle-ranking gardening program. His relationship with the Society is long-standing. It strengthened with the presentation of Rose of the Month which ran for 15 years before recently evolving into segments featuring broader information about roses and rose growing. Michael and wife Prue are familiar figures at Society Christmas functions, building personal connections with those who share his passion for horticulture.
