The Rose Society of South Australia is offering free advice for rose lovers.
Free 45 minute sessions will be held at the Burnside Uniting Church, 384 Portrush Road, Tusmore, commencing at 6.30pm and finishing at 7.15pm.
The National Rose Society of Australia Past President, Gavin Woods, and World Federation of Rose Societies Immediate Past President, Kelvin Trimper, will run the sessions.
February 12 Breeding your own unique rose. – Mary Frick
March 11 Preparing your rose garden for the Autumn Flush, Kelvin and Gavin.
April 8 Showing your roses for maximal impact, Kelvin and Gavin.
May 13 Preparing your garden for new roses, Kelvin and Gavin.
June 10 Pruning made easy, Kelvin and Gavin.
July 8 Using mulch effectively, Kelvin and Gavin.
August 12 Nutrition for your roses, Kelvin and Gavin.
September 9 Pests and Disease management, Kelvin and Gavin
October 14 Exhibiting roses for first timers, Kelvin and Gavin.
Visitors are welcome to stay for the Rose Society of SA monthly meetings which will be held on the same evenings from 7.30pm. Admission is free of charge.
